  • President: Paul Sullivan

I have been attending the TMG since 2008, missing a couple whilst living in New Zealand. I have a passion for providing a space for men to achieve their innate potential, freeing them to make choices that positively impact on their own wellbeing and that of the loved ones and associates in their lives.

I believe this goal can be achieved through positive human connection. Tas Men allows through support and openness, this essential component of being human.

To look at self and ones responsibilities is a continuing and at times challenging journey in life. Tas Men has supported me in this journey over the last 17 years. This is why I have stepped into the role of President.

I look forward to my involvement and camaraderie  with all men associated with Tas Men over my tenure.

  • Treasurer: James Wilson

I attended my first TMG in 2025, and was impressed by the event, the men attending and running the gathering - and inspired to volunteer my time to contribute and support the Tasmen community by joining the Committee. I’ve enjoyed making and maintaining connections through the Huon Valley circle, established out of the TMG 2025 attendees.

Otherwise, I’m usually trying to find a balance in the joys and pressures of family, work, life, and looking after myself.

  • Board member: Mike Smith

I attended my first Tasmanian Mens Gathering (TMG) a few years ago 6/7years?  And since then have been involved with the gathering in a number of ways from helping with the venue, facilitating groups, and recently presenting/content in 2025. I joined a mens group after the first gathering, which was my introduction to “mens work”. There is a great community of men (and women) out there trying to help “men become better men”.  I am a dad of two boys (living in Hobart) and I love the outdoors, cold water, camping & riding bikes (I also help out at the Hobart Bike Kitchen).  I would love to see Tasmen & the TMG continuing as a great resource for Tasmanian men, and young men growing up here.
